Having a 20-year experience in the areas of Wealth Management and Retail in the Banking Sector, Alexandros Vlagkoulis is currently Optima bank’s Head of Products and Marketing.
His career commenced in 2000, in Citibank International Plc, as a Citigold Executive and assumed various roles within Citibank Greece over the following years.
In 2005 he was appointed member of the Wealth Management Committee.
In 2008 he became Vice President and Head of Citigold.
In 2014 he joined Eurobank Ergasias S.A. as Head of the Personal Banking Business Development.
In 2016 he was appointed Head of the Personal Banking and in 2018 he became Head of the Affluent Segment and Analysis with the mandate, among others, to design and implement the Affluent Segment Strategy.
As of February 2019, he was involved in the transformation of the Investment Bank of Greece into a commercial bank.
Mr. Vlagkoulis holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Economics from the University of East London and a master’s degree in Management from the University of Surrey.
