Step 2: Have a videocall with an Optima bank representative
Step 3: Create your own financial profile
Now you can immediately acquire:
- Personal deposit account for your everyday transactions.
- Debit card for your everyday purchases. You will receive the card at the address you have indicated, within a few days after onboarding.
Additionally, you have the option for instant activation of your card for online purchases (e-commerce) and transactions through digital wallets. Once you receive your physical card, you can activate it for use at ATMs and POS terminals directly through Optima e-banking or the Optima mobile app. - User credentials for Optima e-banking & the Optima mobile app for your online banking needs. Credentials are sent by email and Viber/SMS.

For whom has digital onboarding been designed
This new service is designed for individuals – new or existing customers – who do not currently have an account at our bank or/and Optima e-banking.
Furthermore, in order to register at our bank online, you must be an adult Greek national and possess:
- an identity card (existing or new type)
- Taxisnet passwords, with validated contact details in the National Communication Register (ΕΜΕP).
